Urban microclimate and wind for two scenarios of an architectural microclimate study by Colter Sonneville for Austin, Texas USA. The simulated microclimate includes evaporative cooling (from vegetation and surface water), solar radiation, wind etc., full interaction & heat exchange with buildings, terrain and vegetation. Felt temperature results (AT and UTCI) include the influence of radiation, humidity, air temperature and wind velocity. The black and blue arrows show geographic north respectively wind direction of the microclimate simulation. The result layers show the microclimate at 15:00 local summer time for a heatwave day (see: https://rheologic.net/articles/definition-DEEDS/)
